Pinups Presidential Neighborhood Style Guide
Ava’s been out and about, crossing our great nation on the first leg of her tour, walking & rolling through our diverse neighborhoods & testing the design concepts of our #AVA2016 platform. She’s happy to report that our sustainable living pods are going gangbuster! From urban neighborhood blocks, to small forgotten train towns along now cargo-only rail lines, to agro destinations & beyond, our laser sharp #PinupsPresidential focus on the human needs we share (food, clothing, shelter, healthcare & sanitation) vs. our argumentative political-banter-as-usual, is making HEDway* on civic change. Empowered by social media technologies, we’re exploring the unique & individual character of every hood (Yay Melting Pot!) through the consistent lens of human need & our own constitutional values, discovering & creating new and innovative ways to transform governance as we know it. We’re staging a “coo”, sharing art, performance & design via social media to woo investors into our communities in order to revitalize brand U.S.A. Our #NeighborhoodStyleGuides take stock on how we intend to meet these basic human needs & express the brand values we share as Americans, using the preamble as our reference, in our own voices & in our unique #LocalFlavor.

The #AVA2016 #CampaignTrailRedesign Lens: Food, Clothing, Shelter, Healthcare, Sanitation
Justice, Domestic Tranquility, Common Defense, General Welfare, Blessings of Liberty
How are these basic needs & brand values being met & expressed in your hood?
Made In America
If U like it then U gotta Drop a Pin on It
Like it, Pin It, Tag It. In the process of taking inventory along our #CampaignTrailRedesign, #AVA2016 wayfinders will be dropping pins on locations & using shared #Hashtags to connect content to locations. Some of these pins will flag Economic Development opportunities like #DestinationEducation, #DestinationJazz, #HealthcareHospitality & #DestinationScience, where we can apply for education grants & corporate sponsorships once we reach critical mass. (Remember, with our ridiculously ginormous grid systems, it’s often easier to obtain millions of dollars than it is to procure a mere thousand for a local program, so we all we have to do is tag our hyperlocal, super talented people & programs in consistent ways & share, share, share so we can roll them up into honkin’ corporate-sized proposals!) Other pins will identify where basic human needs are not being met so that we can launch highly targeted initiatives & #SocialLab experiments in order to get stuff done. Once we’ve figured out what we want- exactly & in detail-we’ll be in a position to reverse engineer our archaic, gridlocked legislative systems.
i.e. Shelter/Domestic Tranquility
“Try imagining a place where it’s always safe and warm ‘Come in,’ she said, ‘I’ll give you shelter from the storm’” Bob Dylan
Too many Americans are living from paycheck to paycheck, feeling no safety about how ends are going to be met from one month to the next. The cost of quality childcare can be astronomical. In some hoods, our citizens don’t feel like they can call on the authorities in case of an emergency. Shelter means safety from environmental factors that threaten human prosperity and productivity. Or Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness, as it were. What needs to get done in your neighborhood to provide a sense of security? Drop a pin on it.
The #PimpinPotties initiative will locate, design or expand a public restroom facilities where needed. When we reach critical mass, we’ll approach sponsors like Charmin & American Standard. We’ll seek education/engineering grants to host design competitions that collect rainwater/use solar power so they can be placed & moved easily.
